BOSIBA                 An alphabet derived from Taíno petroglyphs. While these rock carvings had spiritual purposes to communicate with deities, Bosiba is 29-count hieroglyphic system that exists in a fictional Puerto Rico that was never colonized.
               The process of producing a writen alphabet brings up the question: How is language created? With this in mind, the creation of Bosiba revealed the many curiosities about the cognitive, social, and artistic processes through which the mind goes when attempting to communicate.
