BOSIBA: TYPE SPECIMEN
The Type Specimen Publication for Bosiba serves as a translator of the alphabet. Showcasing every glyph, while including its phonetic pronounciation, this book allows to public to fully grasp the space in which the alphabet exists. The alphabet is presented both in its illustrated and/or carved state. Bosiba is therefore an exploration of pre-Columbian communication, language, and text through Taíno petroglyphs.
The book, measuring 7” x 9” inches, is inkjet and RISO printed using 70lb Specketone Cream Text Stock and 125lb Muscletone Hot Fudge Cover Stock. It is entirely coptic-bound by hand. The typefaces featured are: Thatanos VF, CoFo Sans Mono VF, Inter, and Bosiba.
