Typeface
Script / Handwritten
29 Glyphs
A typeface derived from Taíno petroglyphs. While these rock carvings were utilized to communicate with deities and spiritual purposes, Bosiba is hieroglyphic system that exists in fictional Puerto Rico– a Puerto Rico that was never colonized.

The process of producing a writen alphabet brings up the question: How is language created? With this in mind, the creation of Bosiba revealed the many curiosities about the cognitive, social, and artistic processes through which the mind goes when attempting to communicate.
