Booklet 1.1 Visual Essay
The imagery for this visual essay is sequenced as a way to narrate the complexities of what makes up our identity. It begins with the most fundamental representations of our identity and progresses into the most abstract depicitions of the self. It compiles a combination of fine art photography, found imagery and graphics, and self-generated content. It is inkjet printed on digital paper and tape-binded.
Booklet 1.2 Interviews and Conversations
This strictly typographic booklet assembles a collection of conversations and interviews as a way to demonstrate how the search for a sense of self begins in the early stages of our childhood and continues into late adulthood. Through the typographic treatment, it visualizes the state of constant change in the everchanging experience of identity. It is inkjet printed on digital paper and perfectly bound.
Booklet 1.3 Curation Book
This booklet combines typography and imagery. Through its taxonomy, it lists different types of media and demonstrates the different approaches the notion of identity. The neutral typography is meant to ressemble the ubiquity and universality in this experience. While the struggle to define our identity might feel lonesome, its a journey that every single person goes through. It is inkjet printed on digital paper and perfectly bound.
